TalkuePrivacy policy
Effective date: September 29, 2026
In short: Talkue doesn't need an account, shows no ads, doesn't track you and never sends your scripts to any server. Your scripts stay on your phone.
1. Who we are
Talkue is a teleprompter app developed by Ali Turan (“Talkue”, “we”). For any question about this policy, write to support@talkue.com.
2. Data we collect
We don't collect any personal data. Talkue:
- doesn't require an account or sign-up,
- shows no ads and doesn't use advertising identifiers,
- contains no analytics, crash reporting or tracking tools,
- doesn't send your scripts, audio or videos to us or to anyone else.
3. What's stored on your phone
Scripts you write or import, your reading position, target times and app settings are stored only in the app's storage on your phone. We have no access to them. Deleting the app deletes this data. If your phone's own backup (iCloud or Google backup) is on, this data may be included in the device backup, which is subject to Apple's or Google's terms.
4. Permissions and what they're used for
Talkue asks for a permission only when you first use the feature that needs it. You can revoke permissions at any time in your phone's settings.

| Microphone | Only while voice commands or voice follow are on, to understand your speech, and in camera mode to record your video's sound. For voice commands and voice follow, audio is not recorded or stored. |
| Speech recognition | To turn your speech into text. When your phone supports it, recognition happens entirely on the phone. If your phone doesn't support on-device recognition for the chosen language, audio may be sent to your phone maker's speech service (Apple on iPhone, Google on Android) for recognition, and their privacy policies apply. Talkue has no access to that audio. |
| Camera | To record video in camera mode. The picture is processed only on your phone. |
| Photos (add only) | To save the videos you record to your Photos. Talkue doesn't read your other photos or videos. |

5. Subscriptions and payments
Free trials and subscriptions are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment details. Purchase information provided by the App Store or Google Play is used to check whether your subscription is active. If we start using a subscription management service, we'll update this section to state clearly what is shared.
6. Children
Talkue is not directed at children under 13. Since we don't collect personal data from anyone, we don't collect it from children either.
7. This website
talkue.com uses no cookies or tracking tools. The site's hosting provider may briefly keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, to run the site and prevent abuse.
8. Your rights
Your rights under the GDPR, the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and similar laws are reserved. Because we don't process personal data about you, we hold no records to access, correct or delete; you can delete the data on your phone at any time from within the app or by deleting the app. For any request, write to support@talkue.com.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll publish the new version on this page and update the effective date. We'll also announce important changes in the app.
